Located at the intersection of Route 662 and Airport Road in downtown Amityville in Amity Township, Berks County. Harold (Butch) and Harriet Boyer have been in business at this site since 1960. We began catering in 1980. We are well known for our scratch (premise-made) cuisine.
Our small market boasts a butcher who loves to please his customer with any specialty cuts that are requested. He makes several kinds of sausage; he’ll also make your recipe if you ask. All meats used in our catering are freshly cut by our butcher. Our deli beef is slow-roasted over a charcoal fire, and we bake our own deli hams. Our high quality deli meats and cheeses are freshly sliced. Our broasted (pressure-fried) chicken is a favorite as a catered item, as well as a luncheon special.
All our deli items are created in our kitchen. Our soups are all home made. The items on our catering menu are prepared from fresh ingredients, including the mashed potatoes. We also have an in-house baker.
We recently started offering more prepared meals, including Gluten-Free options. We are adding more Gluten-Free baked goods and groceries.
We are famous for our catered golf outings, usually grilled steak dinners or pig roasts. We are well-known for never turning away a requested funeral catering. We will try to accommodate any dietary request, special theme or ethnic request. And…we are flexible so, if you would like something that is not on our menus, please ask for it.
Our market is open Tuesday through Sunday and our deli serves made-to order sandwiches. Boyers’ hoagies, made on Conshohocken Bakery rolls, are the most flavorful you can eat.
We take pride in serving our local community!
